# POS Cashier

> Take in-person orders and payments from a phone or tablet. Track sales and keep inventory in sync without a dedicated checkout device.

POS Cashier lets you take in-person orders and payments directly from a phone or tablet, without buying a dedicated checkout device. Sales are recorded and inventory is updated automatically as you complete each transaction.

## Use it for

* In-person sales at counters, stalls, or pop-up locations
* Mobile checkout when a fixed terminal is not practical
* Keeping inventory in sync during face-to-face selling

## How it works

1. Set up the items and prices you want to sell.
2. Take the order and present checkout to the customer on your phone or tablet.
3. The customer chooses how to pay at checkout.
4. Inventory is deducted automatically when the sale is completed.

> **Note:** Creating a payment or transfer-proof submission alone does not confirm payment. Check confirmed payment status before handing over goods or services.

## Minimum preparation

Before you start, prepare the following:

* A phone or tablet to use as your cashier interface
* The items and prices you plan to sell at checkout

## Pricing

Contact Feezless for the current transaction rate and applicable charges before accepting payments.

As an illustration only, a transaction of 1,000 currency units at an example rate of 0.8% would equal 8 currency units in fees. This is not an approved rate; confirm the actual rate with Feezless before you begin.
